Executive Women's Conference

Executive Women's Conference 2006

The Fifth Annual Executive Women’s Conference was held on November 9 at the Tavern on the Green. To further enhance and grow our unique network and to reach out to the next generation of executive women, we announced a new initiative: The SACC New York Mentor Program.

In line with the Mentor Program, the Chamber was also pleased to announce the launch of The Annual Mentor Award. The Award will be presented at the Conference every year from now on to a male who has given longstanding and extraordinary support and encouragement to women in business. The 1st Mentor Award was presented to Rune Borg, Former Head of Group Media Relations at Vattenfall, in recognition and appreciation of his longstanding and extraordinary support and encouragement of women in business.
