Celebrating a Century of Commerce

In recognition of 100 years of faithful service to Swedish-American trade and business, the Chamber designated 2006 its Centennial year.

The festivities began on January 13th with the Twelfth Night Ball and culminated on September 26th & 27th with a Centennial Royal Gala Evening, featuring an exhibit highlighting important moments from the past century of Swedish-American commerce, musical performances, and a banquet attended by H.M. King Carl Gustav XVI of Sweden.

Centennial Silent Auction

On June 15, SACC New York held a Summer Dinner Dance and Silent Auction at the classic Westchester Country Club. Many wonderful items had been donated by our members and friends to celebrate our Chamber's 100th year. The catalog can also be downloaded using the link below. Below you will see the final prices of the sold items. We are grateful for all extraordinary generosity and support. The Chamber has already raised more than two-thirds of the fundraising goals to benefit our Centennial Scholarship Foundation.
