For questions, please contact Helena Kjellberg. 10 Companies on shortlist for SACC Deloitte Green Award 10 Swedish companies have been shortlisted as top candidates to receive the SACC Deloitte Green Award of 2008. "I think these ten companies are among the most exciting green ventures in Sweden today, and they all stand a good chance for success in the US market," says Steve Trygg, chairman Special Projects at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New York. The main objective of the award is to promote Swedish “green” entrepreneurship in the U.S. market. The companies are:
The selection of the winner of the award – valued at USD 75,000, as sponsored by Deloitte – will be chosen by a jury headed by Michael Wood, the current U.S. Ambassador to Sweden. Throughout the summer, further information will be gathered by the jury in order to make a final decision to be announced prior to the Royal Green Award Dinner on September 24 at Tavern on the Green in New York City. The award will be presented to the winner by H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf.
