David is a Swedish businessman who moved to New York in 1987. He is the principal and president of Innoventive Partners LLC, which provides consulting services in strategic planning, marketing and public relations.
David is also chairman of the board of directors for BioGaia AB, a Swedish public bio-tech company headquartered in Stockholm. He also serves on the board of Lifetime Brands, Inc. and Lorillard Inc. and on the advisory board of the Denihan Hospitality Group.
David is active in the non-profit arena. He is on the boards of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in New York, where he was chairman from 1997 to 2001; BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music); the American-Scandinavian Foundation; Friends of Karolinska Institutet; as well as New York City Ballet Inc.

Uppsala University Scholarship is available for students at Uppsala University. The scholarship will allow a young professional to work at the offices of SACC New York for a period of twelve months.
The successful applicant will get the opportunity to gain considerable knowledge of the U.S. business environment and Swedish-American exchanges by working to promote and enhance trade, commerce, and other business relations between Sweden and the United States of America in all possible areas. The selected scholar will also be providing general support to the organization.
This scholarship will also give the scholar an opportunity to represent American Friends of Uppsala University in New York, and to work with alumni outreach in the U.S.
Mikael Ahlström is the Founding Partner at Procuritas, the first Nordic firm focusing on MBOs. Mr. Ahlström has over the last twenty-five years served as a Board Member in several Procuritas associated companies such as Swedish Match AB, Gunnebo AB, Ticket Travel Group AB, LIC Care AB, Bravida ASA and Lekolar AB. Mikael Ahlström is also Chairman and main owner of Byggmästare Anders J Ahlström Holding AB, a publicly listed socially focused residential real estate company, and he also serves on the board of Gram Equipment A/S. He is a member of INSEAD’s International Council, and he is appointed by the Swedish Government to serve as a Director of the Carl and Olga Milles Foundation. Prior to 1985 he was Managing Director of ESI Coal Inc., a US natural resource and energy company and worked at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New York. Mr. Ahlström holds an MBA from INSEAD, France and the equivalent of a BSc Econ from the University of Lund, Sweden. In 1985, he received the Dr. Marcus Wallenberg’s Scholarship for International Industrial Enterprises Studies. In 2009, in conjunction with INSEAD’s 50th Anniversary, Mr. Ahlström was named by INSEAD as one of the 50 alumni “who changed the world”. Mr. Ahlström is the Founder and Chairman of Charity Rating, an Association aiding donors to select charities. Mr. Ahlström and his former wife have also founded CHELHA, a foundation giving grants to individuals and organizations keen to foster democratic processes and studies.
Henry E. Gooss is a Senior Advisor at Investor Growth Capital, Inc. since December 1, 2008. Mr. Gooss served as the President at the firm since 2005. Mr. Gooss also served asthe Managing Director and Head of Investor Growth Capital at Investor AB and a member of the Management Group since he joined in 1998. Previously he was the Chief Investment Officer at Chase Manhattan Bank and its predecessors, since 1986. Mr. Gooss began his career at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Mr. Gooss also serves as Chairman of the William T. Grant Foundation, Treasurer of Goodwill Industries, and as a Director of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce where he served as Chairman 2001-2005 and 2010-2012. Mr. Gooss holds an M.B.A. in Investments from the New York University and graduated in Economics from Rutgers University.
