Gabriella Andersson, the fifth recipient of the Uppsala University Scholarship, holds a B.Sc. in Business and Administration from Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law. While pursuing her undergraduate studies, Gabriella did a semester abroad at HEC Montreal. Most recently, she worked as a sustainability consultant with KPMG AB in Stockholm. During her scholarship year, she will also serve as the U.S. Alumni Representative & Secretary of the Board of Directors of Uppsala University Alumni Chapter in New York.
Sebastian Gransäter is the 11th recipient of the Bertil Edlund Scholarship and holds a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from Uppsala University. He has studied economics as an exchange student at the University of Western Australia. At Uppsala University, Sebastian was appointed Bloomberg Campus Ambassador, where he also was elected into the talent network for students, Nova 100. He is a competitive sailor and has made three Trans-Atlantic crossings.
Ilari Möller, the first recipient of the newly established Dangoor New York PR Scholarship, is a graduate from Uppsala University with a B.Sc. in Business Administration. As an undergraduate, Ilari spent a semester in Japan where he studied the Asian economy at Nagoya University of Commerce & Business. During his academic commitments he worked extra at the Swedish bank Handelsbanken. Ilari has also served as Vice President of the Swedish Young Shareholders' Association in Uppsala and has been an active member of the Uppsala Business & Economics Students Association.
Fanny Yu is the second scholar to receive the Henry and Barbara Gooss Scholarship, which was established in 2013. She holds an MSc in Business and Economics from Lund University, and spent a semester studying at Shanghai Jiaotong University in China. Most recently she worked for Zalando SE, Europe’s largest online fashion retailer, where she was in charge of email marketing activities for Sweden. In 2013, Fanny spent a summer interning at Oriflame in Thailand, and she also helped open China’s biggest Hästens and Rolf Benz store in Xiamen. While at university, she was the Chairman of the International Quorum, Kuratorskollegiet, and led the international collaboration between the school’s 13 student nations.
Karin Lind is the fourth recipient of the Uppsala University Scholarship, which was established in 2011. She holds a BA in Media and Communication studies from Stockholm University, and is studying towards her Masters of Arts degree at Uppsala University, where she is specializing in Management, Communication and IT. Between obtaining her BA and starting her Master’s, she spent a year as an exchange student at University of Rochester in Upstate New York. During her undergraduate studies, Karin served two separate terms on her student organization’s election committee, and was responsible for the planning, marketing and execution of the election process. She is proficient in Internet publishing and web design.
