“It is an honor and a true privilege to receive the Bertil Edlund Scholarship 2011. I would like to thank the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New York, and especially President Renée Lundholm for believing in me and giving me this great opportunity. I would also like to thank Mr. Bertil Edlund for making this possible. He grew up in the dark forests of Sweden, just like I did. Having an incurable thirst for knowledge he went to Stockholm to get a solid education at the Stockholm School of Economics, just like I did. Bertil is a true entrepreneur who seizes the opportunities and has through that created an amazing career. I am thankful for his generosity and believe that being the Bertil Edlund Scholar of 2011, getting to spend a year in New York at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, is a first step in creating an amazing career of my own. I look forward to this year with excitement!”
