The annual SACCNY-Deloitte Green Award is presented to a Swedish company that clearly demonstrates forward-thinking and innovation within sustainability. The nominees all wear a halo for contributing to a healthier, more sustainable food system, but which one will wear the crown?

As a leading producer in unicorns, Sweden is a central hub for finding innovative solutions to concerns of world resources. What better way to increase sustainability through the power of technology? Sustainology is an action-driven summit on the intersection of FoodTech and sustainability.

This year’s nominees are BeeScanning, an app which monitors your bees’ health, BoMill, capturing the value in your grain by Single Kernel Sorting on internal properties, Drupps, providing solutions for industrial-scale water production from ambient air or steam outlets, and Innoscentia, creating sensor technology for spoiled and bad food. These Swedish companies were chosen based on the award’s criteria which are to be beneficial to the environment and environmentally sustainable, to be a breakthough “green” invention or technology linked to the food chain and to be commercialized or close to commercial release.

Our two finalists, Innoscentia and Drupps, are to appear on the mainstage at Citi HQ in Tribeca, New York. This year, the companies will pitch in front of a handpicked jury consisting of Anna Throne-Holst, President of The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, New York, Andreas Marcetic, Partner – Financial Advisory Leader, Deloitte Sweden, Johan Schnürer, President and Vice-Chancellor, Örebro University, Johan Jörgensen, Founder of Sweden FoodTech and Louisa Burwood-Taylor, Head of Media and Research from Agfunder. The pitch will be witnessed by an audience ranging from entrepreneurs and investors to academia and not-for-profit sector and beyond. You’ll want to hear what they have to say about their exciting technology!

Thank you to our partner, Deloitte, for making this award possible and showing us all that by supporting one another, we can put our vision into action.

Don’t miss this exciting day – It will be SACCNY’s biggest one yet! Reserve your tickets now at bit.ly/sustainologytickets
