We used to think the internet was a fad. Let’s talk about Blockchain.

Blockchain is widely perceived as the future of technology—a technology that fundamentally can alter the way we live and the way we do business. Many have heard of blockchain in connection to Bitcoin, however, Blockchain can be used in a number of industries.

On November 1, SACCNY welcomes you to an After Work Keynote session at Gateway to hear three companies’ perspectives on how to use blockchain and what they believe that the future of this highly controversial technology holds. This panel discussion will bring together Chromaway, CoverUS and Pindify, representing some of the most interesting industries where the invention is applicable today.

This event is a perfect opportunity to learn, debate and discuss blockchain technology and its role in society, both now and in the future. RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot.

Participating companies:

ChromaWay–

ChromaWay is a blockchain software provider to a range of industries including banking, real estate, government and financial services. The company is building the “relational blockchain” based on its innovative Postchain capability that brings scalability to decentralized networks.  ChromaWay recently announced its public blockchain, Chromapolis, developed to host decentralized applications (Dapps) targeting enterprise consortiums, games, and innovative developer projects.

CoverUs–

CoverUS makes healthcare more affordable for everyone, everywhere.  They do this by building the most valuable consumer-connected, fully consented health data asset in the world. The CoverUS app empowers consumers to monetize their health data and attention, with additional Blockchain-powered privacy controls to keep their personal information more secure. Rewards delivered to CoverUS members improve their financial health, with the goal of removing economic barriers to preventative care and patient compliance.

Pindify

Pindify is an online platform that enables artists to publish, distribute, and monetize their content. The platform enables its users to create personalized profiles where they can distribute personal art, text, film, and music. Publishers are also able to view the content and
