OUR MISSION

The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New York (SACCNY) is a non-governmental organization. Our mission is to promote, advance and protect commercial and professional relations between Sweden and the United States while acting as an important support agent for Swedish businesses internationalizing into the U.S. market.

A Chamber membership ensures participation in a dynamic Swedish-American business community, as well as full access to our transatlantic network.

As Head of Communications, Yasmina works with promoting and creating value for Swedish businesses in the United states via the Chamber's online platforms. As President, Anna is primarily in charge of all areas of membership outreach and recruitment, in addition to staff, financial and operational management. Anna is further responsible for all government and corporate outreach and relations.

Johannes´ role is to assist Swedish companies in launching and operating in the U.S., and to function as a bridge between the startup community and established corporations. Johannes is also in charge of developing ''The Gateway Project”.

Olivia works mainly with Business Services and matchmaking between  Swedish and American businesses across the Atlantic. Up until January, Olivia will focus on SACCNY’s one of a kind, Tri-State Directory that gathers all Swedish related business in the Tri-State area.

Michaela is assisting in various parts of the Chamber, mainly with communications including marketing, online media, photographing, and editing. Julia is a scholar from Stockholm School of Economics. With an immense passion for food and sustainability, her primary focus is working with the Chamber's Sustainology Summit. In addition to that, she works closely with the event and communications department in planning and executing various event.

Olof joined the Chamber in June 2014. He takes care of all Financial and HR matters for the Chamber, and he is also responsible for our Business Support Office.
