WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN DURING YOUR EXPERIENCE AT THE CHAMBER?

The chamber went through a big rebranding last year so I’m excited to be a part of this journey and to learn how to establish and nurture a new brand with such an impressive history. Working within communication also means setting strategic plans for the chamber as well as its conferences and events which is something that I will definitely bring with me after this experience. Lastly, I’m looking forward to learn as much as possible from all of my talented colleagues and members in the network – in all fields and areas.

WHY DID YOU APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP?

I applied to the Bertil Edlund scholarship because I am a firm believer in globalization and the prosperity that comes with it. The Chamber is a perfect place for someone like myself who thrives in the intersection where business and policy meets. On a day-to-day basis, I find it thrilling to work with so many innovative Swedish companies, helping them to find US opportunities, and supporting trade and investment between our two countries. I am certain that the experience that I will gain from the Chamber will help me to become a confident and trusted business advisor.
