On Friday, January 24, 2020, SACCNY would like to invite you to the first Gateway For Good, a Gateway community initiative to contribute to social and environmental sustainability. Individually, we can do our part to minimize our carbon emissions by donating our items rather than throwing them in the trash and purchasing gently used products, giving them a second life. Collectively, we raise awareness on the different levels of impact we individually have. 100% of the proceeds will go to a charity, selected at each event.
Gateway For Good is a recurring event and focuses on a different charity each iteration. The SACCNY/Gateway team will select three charities and the participants will select which one they wish to put their money towards. The clothes that aren’t sold are donated to the salvation army.
